I sat on the grass, staring at a fence with weeds crawling over the top, and three palm trees swaying from left to right in the distance. There are little plants growing around the trunk of two trees but one tree had not been invaded by the tiny green leaves. This tree stood out to me. “Is this what I’m supposed to notice?” I thought. Why am I sitting on the grass, staring at trees, in my fifth period English class?
Stop trying to be somebody you’re not! Many times we are so worried about fitting in with the crowd that we change who we are so people will accept us. Ultimately, being yourself is the best person that you could ever be. Be yourself because everybody else is already taken.
This video really uplifted my day and made me feel more confident about who I am. Seeing all of these women with smiles on their faces brought a smile to my face and reminded me that I am beautiful no matter what other people might say or think.
