Stuck inside a snow globe?

Have you ever felt trapped inside a bubble. You have a problem, and you feel like no matter what you do, there is no way to escape. The snowman in this video thought the same thing, he couldn’t get out of his snow globe. He tried several different ways to escape, but each time he failed. I too felt like the snowman, but I knew that if I kept pushing myself to resolve the conflict, I would escape my snow globe and enter paradise.

Let it go

So I know that many of you have probably heard thousands of different versions of the song, “Let it go” from the extremely popular Disney movie, Frozen. Above is my favorite version of the song, of course besides the original.  “Let it go” just recently won an Oscar award for best song, and I definitely think it was deserving. This song has been stuck inside my head for the past week, and I realized that it has revealed to me an important life lesson.

“What do you think about giving gifts?” I absolutely LOVE giving gifts, but not just any kind of gifts, special gifts. I love giving gifts that mean something to the person that is receiving them. I SURVIVED!

I did it! I made it past first semester finals week! It was a very long week filled with struggles and stress, but I SURVIVED! However, there is one thing that I absolutely HATE when entering finals week, and that is borderline grades. Borderline grades put so much pressure on you because you have to score extremely well on the test in order to either maintain your grade or bring your grade up the few decimal places you need to reach the next highest grade. My math grade going into the final was 90%. I needed to ace this test or score a very high “B” in order to keep this grade.

My heart is pumping. My hands are shaking. My foot is tapping. The butterflies are starting to flutter in my stomach. I am going to volunteer next. I will be so relieved after it’s over. He just finished giving his presentation. My friends tell me to stand up. Before I know it, I am walking to the front of the class. It’s my turn to give my presentation. I can do this. I can do this. I can do this!
